The Orb has been completely redesigned for winter 16/17 and is now an aggressive all-mountain all-rounder. It is ideal for alpine, off-piste terrain with variable conditions. Its Camber/Front Rocker construction and double titanal layer make the Orb exceptionally stable with extreme edge grip. For me, the Orb is the perfect ski for skiers who are used to classic, aggressive race skis and are looking for a versatile new ski that impresses with top edge grip on the piste, ploughs easily through slushy snow or glides effortlessly on thin powder. This ski guarantees confidence and control when you go off-piste.Julian Lill - Keller Sports Pro
The classic Camber is what gives this ski its stability and alpine handling. Thanks to the Front Rocker, the ski glides over powder effortlessly. Front Rocker and the Early Rise Tail ensures the ski is also relatively easy to turn, despite its stability. The classic, stiff tail offers additional stability, which is perfect for reaching high speeds and landing beautifully after a jump.
Thanks to the Semi Cap construction - a combination of Cap and Sandwich/Sidewall structure - this ski is extremely light. Its construction also enables excellent energy transfer while carving, while also reducing lateral vibrations.
A poplar wood core, combined with the overall construction (Camber/Front Rocker/Early Rise Tail) and the two titanal layers, gives this ski an alpine spirit.
The Orb offers top edge grip on the piste, thanks to its large radius. However, it also performs beautifully on slushy snow and alpine, off-piste terrains with variable conditions. It is perfect for experienced skiers who like to be active with their skirs. Despite its aggressivity, this is a top all-rounder that offers a wide range of uses.
